The difference between a house that has been tidied and a house that has been cleaned is whether anyone worked to a list. Perham works to one, room by room. In the kitchen that means the sink, counter tops, microwave, stove top and refrigerator cleaned down, cabinet doors hand washed, dusting from top to bottom, floors swept and mopped, and the trash taken out to your trash area. In the bathroom, the tub, sink and toilet, floors washed by hand rather than pushed around with a mop, walls and light switches spot wiped, and the door handles and the places hands actually land. Bedrooms get the bed stripped and remade with fresh sheets, surfaces dusted, floors vacuumed and mopped. Living rooms and offices get flat surfaces, the television and the shelf clutter dusted, then floors vacuumed and mopped. Rooms are priced by the bedroom on a published list rather than quoted room by room, so you know the number before anyone arrives.

They book in three-hour arrival windows rather than promising an exact time, and they text when they are leaving for your home or office. Days are booked on your preference plus one, in case of conflicts.
Once you are on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule, the day and time mostly stay the same. New clients are asked for a 50% deposit on the first cleaning, with payment due at the time of service.
Their own stated policy: if you are not happy with the service they will come back and fix it at no cost within 48 hours. Their words: “We are human and things do sometimes get missed but we will always make it back to fix it.”
